Medical Disclaimer
The short version: I'm a guy with gyno, not a doctor. Use this site to understand your situation and to ask better questions, then make decisions with a doctor who has examined you.
Information, not medical advice
Everything on GynoTreatment.com is general information. It isn't medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan, and reading it doesn't create a doctor-patient relationship with anyone. The writer isn't a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or surgeon.
Medical pages summarize what published sources say, such as medical journals, professional societies and insurer policies, and list those sources at the bottom of the page. Sources can be updated after a page was last reviewed, and the reviewed date shows when a page's facts were last checked.
What that means for you
- Don't start, stop or change any medication, supplement or hormone because of something you read here. Talk to the doctor who prescribed it.
- Don't use this site to rule out something serious. Only an exam, and sometimes tests, can tell what's in your chest.
- Prices, insurance rules and product details change. Check them with the surgeon, insurer or seller before you rely on them.
- Exercise and diet suggestions are for healthy adults. Check with a doctor first if you have a health condition, and stop if anything hurts.
Stories and products
Example stories on this site are made up to illustrate a point and are labeled that way. Real stories link to the person's own words and are one person's experience, not a prediction of yours. Product reviews describe patterns in what buyers report and aren't medical endorsements. Compression garments and nipple covers hide gyno; they don't treat it.
